Polly Wylly Cooper
After 22 years in England, Scotland and Illinois, Polly returned to Savannah, her home town. Her husband Tim, is an international businessman and they have two children. She has been making stoneware pottery for thirty years and also works as a tour guide and freelance writer. She is a member of The Crabettes, a popular accordion group, still clawing their way to stardom, playing their "stomach Steinways." The Crabettes recently played "Glow Worm" on the A&E special "Midnight in Savannah."
Emmeline King Cooper
Emmeline was born in New York City to southern parents who met and married there. The King family moved to Savannah when Emmeline was five years old. She is a graduate of Randolph-Macon Woman's College and is married to Robert Scotland Cooper. In 1958 the Coopers bought a house in Savannah's historic district, where they reared three sons. Emmeline's hobbies are playing the recorder and studying Italian. In bocca al lupo!
